The strategy
Creating/Testing Viral Ads
On a consistent weekly basis, we created and A/B tested strategic creative angles and products through static ads, videos, and ad copy. We also leveraged their organic Tiktok presence to repurpose their top performing content into ads. Through this, we learned the top performing hooks and products that we continued to lean into while creating organic Tiktok style UGC videos that further fueled the ad performance. Utilizing Post IDs was also key to aggregate social proof across all campaigns — ultimately leading to viral engagements on ads.
Tiktok Shop
We were able to scale Tiktok Shop through focusing on consistent rotation and testing of creatives and leveraging spark ads through proper campaign set ups. Segmenting out optimization strategies, utilizing both Video Shopping Ads (VSA) and Product Shopping Ads (PSA), and implementing cost caps to profitably scale Tiktok shop ads. Spark ads from SMACKIN’s own account was also imperative to ensure all engagement statistics (views, likes, comments, etc.) from paid ads added to the brand’s existing Tiktok page.
